Weekly Photo Challenge: Unusual

This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is why I like blogging with photography. I don’t always have to post the best photograph or the most correct. I can have fun with creativity and my eye for making the normal into the unusual. I’ve taken some bizarre and unusual photographs. Especially when I’m just walking around with my camera in hand. Hope you ENJOY my warped brain and creativity for this week. As always scroll down for the enlarged version.

Rock salt in plastic shaker...
Roots from a forced hyacinth we grew indoors. Looks almost like it should be in a sci-fi movie.
Holes in my plastic laundry basket with a grey t-shirt. No I did not change the color of the laundry basket...I just love color.
Seat on our Max Trains (mass transit) in Portland. I think the seams make them looks like lips. I did do a little color altering. The seats are blue.
One of Chris's hobbies is balloon twisting. This is the handle of a sword!
I had my camera with me when we got our oil changed in one of our cars....and this is some of the nozzles in the oil shop.
A rusty old bathtub that is now being used as a rather large flower pot. Photo taken in Aurora, Oregon that is a haven for antique stores.
Shoes that were sitting on a bench in Oregon City. No one was around, just the shoes.

Omg. I LOVE those shoes! Really makes you wonder what the story is! The alien Hyacinth and the rock salt are also stellar. Great choices…but those shoes just made my day for some reason!

Great fun photos! I just took a photo of some rock salt but it certainly didn’t come out as interesting as your…at least until I hit it with some photoshop. Hopefully, you’ll see it soon. I wonder if those shoes are still there? LOL

I may have singled out the lips, but all of these are outstanding. Real impressionistic which is key to great photography, that you are skillful at. Love this one. Someday, I’ll feature your blog when the right time comes.

A whole gallery of UNUSUAL captures. The seeing the laundry basket is especially amazing to me, and the eye for the balloon handle. Nice!

I love the rub rust dub tub, and the color of your laundry basket. I have a lot of cooking utensils, and cookware in that color…Love it. I think it’s something that stuck with me sense childhood after I rode my first Kawasaki…

Yes, anyone can participate in this challenge. All you need do is create your blog with the subject. Most people put a link into the Weekly Photo Challenge like I do. That way people can look you up through WordPress challenge blog. The Photo of the Week comes out every Friday and you can enter your entry anytime.

The seat on the mass transit is my favorite. It is unusual that it is on a mass transit. What were they thinking – perhaps, it happened accidentally. It a fun seat.
