Weekly Photo Challenge: Unfocused
4 May 2012
WordPress’s Weekly Challenge this week is Unfocused, I found it rather difficult to find photos that fit the criteria. As you know I prefer sharp, crisp photography. I kind of envy people who can do a soft focus and make it beautiful. Usually if my photos are even slightly off I get rid of them instantly. I did however find a couple of them for this challenge. These photos have not been altered, a couple were cropped . Some of them are just out of focus, other I had the wrong point of focus.
This photo is my favorite.
Please click on one of the smaller photos to get a full-sized slide show. ENJOY!
Hugs and blessings
Cee

Like you, I ditch photos I am not happy with so this week was a toughie. I like your contribution this week.

I think the third one of the plant is my favourite this week Cee.
May 04, 2012 @ 14:44:35
All really nice, but the autumn leaves stand out to me.
May 04, 2012 @ 14:59:13
Loved the red leaves in particular..
May 04, 2012 @ 15:14:14
Lovely. I like the third to last (not good at flower names) and the last one, the blues.

Isn’t it funny how slightly out-of-focus looks bad, but VERY out-of-focus can look good?
May 04, 2012 @ 16:25:33
Looking at all these unfocused entries make my eyes go wonky!
May 04, 2012 @ 16:31:32
Love them Irises, Cee!! Have a great weekend!
May 04, 2012 @ 18:24:19
Generally don’t like out of focus pictures, they make me dizzy (I know, it’s weird), but this isn’t too bad!
May 04, 2012 @ 19:48:31
That is a lovely addition to the challenge.

You take such good pictures. Like them!
May 05, 2012 @ 02:49:45
I really like them especially the autumn leaves and the fluffy pink one. I know how much they must be annoying you though Cee!! You’re a master at focus!!
May 05, 2012 @ 07:16:52
Very nice entries. I should get rid of those just-not-right photos, but digital storage is just so easy and there are no overflowing boxes, so I don’t.

Great photos for this week’s challenge! It finally shows that unfocused photos can be beautiful too

Wonderful photos – I am so hooked on nature right now.

Cee, I like this “unfocused” challenge, although I can see how it would be challenging! Sometimes pics like these simply look unfocused; other times they look dream-like and inviting. I think yours look like the latter.

i am sure most of your images are well focused cee …but these are so colourful, they are lovely , especially the green!
May 07, 2012 @ 13:22:56
I love the green as well Cee, but I think my favourite is the daisy. A brilliant shot.

Hya Cee – - seeing as there hasn’t been an official weekly photo challenge this week, I’m stepping up and throwing down a challenge for anyone who’s interested. http://wheresmybackpack.wordpress.com/2012/05/12/reflections/
I’d love you to join in – the more the merrier. Pass it on. xxx Ailsa

I think that’s the only challenge I didn’t like, maybe because I just haven’t grasped its why. Maybe the challenge creator had depth of field on his mind. That’s all I can think of.
